Geoff Hoffmann joined DHR International in 1999 and was promoted to the role of Chief Executive Officer in October of 2012.  In his current role Mr. Hoffmann is responsible for directing all functions of the corporate business.  Previously Mr. Hoffmann was the Chief Operating Officer.  In this capacity he oversaw all corporate marketing, public relations, internal recruiting, research, and strategic planning responsibilities on a global basis.  Before that, as Executive Vice President of Strategy, Mr. Hoffmann oversaw all of the firm’s international offices and was accountable for the development and growth of new locations.  During his tenure the firm began its global expansion and subsequently established offices in 13 countries with additional openings to follow. 

Prior to this role, Mr. Hoffmann had been an integral part of the growth and operating processes of DHR and assisted in the development of extensive global recruiting and operating procedures.  Additionally, Mr. Hoffmann led the firm’s new marketing and branding strategy that is reflective of the firm’s global presence. Mr. Hoffmann began his career at DHR as an Associate in the research department executing senior level searches in a variety of industries and functions including professional services, life sciences and financial services.  

In addition, Mr. Hoffmann serves on the boards of DHR International and Edgewood Properties, a privately-held  commercial real estate investment firm and is a member of YPO. 

Mr. Hoffmann has been featured and quoted in numerous business publications and has made multiple appearances on CNBC and Fox Business News.

Mr. Hoffmann holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Miami University and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Geoff, his wife Megan, and their three sons reside in Winnetka, Illinois.
