Christine Greybe serves as President of DHR International. She first joined the firm in September 2004 as the Managing Director of Asia-Pacific. She was appointed to the DHR Board of Directors in March 2006 and promoted to President of the firm in October 2008.
Ms. Greybe has been instrumental in establishing the DHR brand throughout the Asia-Pacific region, working with some of the world’s leading companies to identify and place their most senior executives at both a global and regional level. From the company’s regional headquarters in Hong Kong, Ms. Greybe has led the expansion of DHR’s brand, opening offices in Australia, China, Dubai, India, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand and Singapore with ongoing plans for further growth. Her achievements in building the region’s business and building the best performing division of the firm saw Ms. Greybe recognized as, not only one of its leading consultants, but also an industry leader.
Ms. Greybe’s experience in search covers all levels of management with particular emphasis on C-level searches, Heads of Business and operational leaders as well as all functional areas reporting to these roles. Her industry experience has covered a wide variety of sectors, more recently focusing on telecommunications, technology, retail, consumer, entertainment, media and publishing. She covers the Asia-Pacific region and has experience in Greater China, Japan, Southeast Asia and India.
Ms. Greybe champions our Diversity Practice and the Board and CEO Practice in Asia-Pacific. This has led to the placement of female talent in key leadership roles, particularly in Japan.
Ms. Greybe was previously with a regional Hong Kong based executive search firm focusing on the placement of key executives across Asia. During her ten years with the Group, she spent five years building the Telecommunications, Technology and Media Practices throughout the region. Prior to this, Ms. Greybe created, led and managed a joint venture with the Group, from 1994 to 1999, establishing the business as one of the region’s leading search and selection companies. She commenced her career in recruitment in 1990, initially in South Africa, prior to relocating to Hong Kong in 1992 to lead the regional operations of an international firm.
Ms Greybe has been featured and quoted in business media such as Bloomberg TV, CCTV (China’s national TV network), China Business News, Dragon TV, CNBC Asia, Financial Times, Nikkei Financial Daily, Nikkei Sangyo, Reuters, Shanghai Business Review, South China Morning Post, and The Wall Street Journal.
Ms. Greybe was born in South Africa and has a Diploma of Higher Education from Rhodes University. She began her teaching career in Bophutatswana as an English teacher and sports coach. She is fluent in English and Afrikaans.
