DHR INTERNATIONAL OPENS THIRD OFFICE IN INDIA; HAROLD D'SOUZA JOINS AS SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, BANGALORE
BANGALORE, INDIA, November 2009 – Global executive search firm DHR International, which already has two successful offices, in Mumbai and New Delhi, has announced its expansion to Bangalore, India. With this new office, Harold D’Souza joins as Senior Vice President and brings over 11 years of search experience with him.
DHR’s Managing Director for India, Suchet Narain said, “We expect our fast-growth momentum in India to gain further traction, and this third office is in response to the C-level needs of our Indian and multinational clients. Harold’s technology and telecom background is definitely a welcome addition to our senior team here.”
Mr. D’Souza’s industry expertise includes all areas of the technology sector. Over the last six years he has successfully worked with organizations – both Indian and MNC – in the semiconductor, hardware, software products and services, internet and ITES areas and helped them find leadership talent. He has also closely worked with PE/VC funds and entrepreneurs and advised them on hiring leadership talent for new age and innovative technology and internet startups. Apart from his main area of specialization in the technology and telecom sector, Mr. D’Souza’s search experience also spans financial services and consumer industries.
Mr. D’Souza was previously with the Indian executive search firm, Accord Group (part of the ALTO Partners network globally), where he last served as Principal during the seven plus years he was there. He was instrumental in setting up the Bangalore office and the technology practice for the firm, almost from scratch.
Prior to Accord Group he was with Ernst & Young in the Mumbai office of this global accounting and consulting firm, leading their management resourcing practice.
Mr. D’Souza started his recruiting career with Personnel Search Services, one of the pioneers of the recruitment business in India where he was a key member of the financial services practice.
